Mbweha Camp is nestled up against the southern border of Lake Nakuru National Park in the private 6400 acre Congreve Conservancy.
Besides daily game drives throughout the beautiful Conservancy and the nearby Lake Nakuru National Park, the area boasts of a wealth of activities such as visits to Lake Elementaita hot springs, the Kariandusi Prehistoric Site or the Menengai crater. Hot air ballooning unwraps the beautiful aerial view of the vast Great Rift Valley, especially the Eburu and Mau Ranges.
Mbweha camp’s ten charming cottages built of lava stone with thatched makuti roofs blend effortlessly into the environment. The natural vegetation of the Conservancy is kept intact therefore allowing for frequent sightings of resident leopard, zebras, buffalos, eland and dik-dik.
Indigenous trees like Candelabra Euphobia and yellow barked Acacia separate the cottages thus ensuring utmost privacy.
Each cottage, set back into vegetation, features rustic en-suite bathrooms and is interiored with richly textured African materials. Continental style cuisine caters to a variety of the guest’s dietary requirements.
